Terms of booking
The contract for a booked journey. Draft only — not in force until the client has reviewed it with their own adviser.
This document is a draft, written for Elite Taxi St Andrews to review with its own legal adviser before launch. It is not legal advice and it binds nobody yet. Every bracketed placeholder below marks a detail only the client can supply.

Who we are
These terms are between you and Elite Taxi St Andrews, a private-hire operator licensed by Fife Council, of Unit 6.1 Slotline House, Largo Road, St Andrews KY16 8NJ.
The booking
An online request receives a reference in the form ELT-XXXXX. A journey is confirmed when our booking desk confirms availability. Custom journeys also require you to accept our quote.
The published named-route fare is fixed once online prepayment is received through the secure link we send. If you pay the driver instead, the displayed fare is an estimate and the meter determines the final fare.
The journey
We will collect you at the pickup time in the confirmation. Airport pickups are timed against the flight number you give us, so a delayed landing moves the pickup rather than forfeiting the car. Waiting beyond the agreed time may be charged in 15-minute blocks at the rate stated when we confirm.
The vehicle class follows the passenger count you gave us. A saloon seats four with luggage; five or more travel in an estate or MPV.
Changes and cancellation
You may change or cancel a booking yourself at https://elitetaxistandrews.co.uk/manage up to 12 hours before pickup, using the reference and the email you booked with. Inside that window, call +44 7862 006604 and we will do what we can — a driver is already committed.
Prepaid cancellations made outside the cutoff are refunded to the same card, processed by hand within 3 working days. Pay-on-arrival cancellations outside the cutoff release the car; nothing is charged.
Payment
Pay on arrival (card or cash with the driver) or ask us for a secure card payment link once the booking is confirmed. We do not take card details in the chat assistant. Bookings made in chat are always pay on arrival.
Liability
We carry the insurance required of a Fife Council private-hire operator. [liability cap, if any, to be set by the client's adviser]. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
